Software development crowdsourcing platforms have been rising in recent years as alternative to old-fashioned outsourcing, and one of the pioneers is TopCoder, which has been offering software development services through crowdsourcing since 2002.
To organizations seeking for vendors, TopCoder offers streamlined and cost-effective software development services through its talent pool of professionals. To individual freelancers, TopCoder offers work flexibility and opportunities to work with high-profile organizations on interesting projects.
In this talk, Albert (TopCoder handle albertwang), as a veteran topcoder member, will share his journey with TopCoder in the past decade, and thoughts about technology crowdsourcing and software architecture.
